Some of us that were at swim practice decided to meet at 7 AM at the flagpole, so it is a little less hot.
We plan to ride easy pace out towards Gates. the longest we will ride is 3 hours, but some people will probably head back early.
Newcomers are of course more than welcome, and we won't drop you.

yes, comfortable pace heading west...won't be fast enough for any dropping to occur (think base building). turn around when you want. i'm planning on getting in three hours.
related,i think if we add 15 min. from here until closer to El Tour we can work up to a 5 hour ride about two weeks before El Tour, which would seem ideal for those doing the 109 miler. and for those doing SOMA half this would definitely allow for a four hour ride or so about two weeks prior to that race as well.
