Lake Las Vegas Tri + RCPM?

Okay, so I just happened to notice that Roger Clyne (azpeacemakers.com) is playing in Vegas the night of the Lake Las Vegas Triathlon (August 30th).  It's a 21 and over show.

Is anyone interested?  I'm not sure if it's even doable for me, but wanted to throw it out there.  The only thing that stinks is packet pick-up is mandatory the day before and goes until 8 pm (leave tucson by 1?).

Did anyone catch the Iron Girl triathlon on NBC this morning?  Not sure if it's the same course, but definitely the same location.  The bike course looked pretty cool.  I think it was mostly on a bike path.

That sounds like a fun trip. I won't be able to make it, but I really want to do the Sept 28 tri in Vegas. Anyone interested?

The best vegas tri is the pumpkinman. It is october 18th. The swim is at lake mead, bike is up to boulder city, then the run is in boulder city. The bike is all up hill, but the course is awesome. The club national championships are there this year.
