Planning the Aquathlon

Hey guys so I am going to be needing some help this semester to plan the Aquathlon!

I kinda organized it in to two groups.... the Donations group and an Advertising group.  I would like maybe one or two people to volunteer to head one of these groups and get more TriCats to help and I will let you know more details of what exactly needs to be done. Hopefully if you are interested you get back to me ASAP so we can get started on these things because they all need to be done before the aquathlon gets close...which it already is!

I will also need volunteers for the actual event! Sunday, September 28th, 2008 I need people for set-up and clean-up, run course guides, lap counters, an announcer, water station people, selling t-shirts/food (bake sale), and anything else I'm forgetting.  Oh yeah get all of your friends to sign up to race!  

Remember we can't do this with out you guys! Thanks for all your help!

i'll need details before i can commit to anything besides helping with set-up and take-down.

i can probably get my mom to count laps and i'll make stuff for the bakesale.

Ok well for the Donations

Ok well for the Donations group the things I have written down for them to do is to get food donated from grocery stores and other places ( I have the letter I used last time) and donations of prizes from our sponsors.

The marketing Group is going to need to set up dates for on the mall to promote it, be responsible for getting something up on facebook (just like a picture or something that we used like last semester), and getting flyers out to places where people will see them.

All of this does't need be done on your own either. I just wanted to put someone in charge of each and then get people to help you.
