I vote for anything but McCain...been riding it all summer.

This is true.  We'd have to drive almost 100 miles to get close enough to make it a realistic ride.  It was just a thought.  I'd like to do it some time because we get to climb higher than Lemmon.

yeah i'd like to ride but nothing i have to drive 100 miles to.  i don't really want to do anything over two hours.  not sure how epic you guys are looking to go, but after my half training i'm backing off the horse until official team practices begin. like renee said, don't plan around me, but i'd like to join if its a ride under two hours. 

Tucson Desert Heat is going up Lemmon on Saturday and I'm leading it.  LeBuzz (NE corner Tanque Verde and Catalina Hiway (Mt Lemmon Rd)) riding away at 6am.  You guys are more than welcome and it would be good to see you all.

I'll be there (and wishing I had been able to get to bed earlier tonight). I also may only go a couple hours instead of the whole shebang.

i biked at 10am and it was freakin hot, not the best idea.  hadn't ridden more than four times in the last three or four weeks (longest ride of 1:45 or so) and for some crazy reason decided i would ride to the top...yeah, that hurt.  oh well, finished at least, but it took forever.  it was, however, good to see some fellow tricats out there.
