Running in the sunset
Thanks to all people who came to the track tonight (and thanks to all other Tricats that I've been training with this past year, too). Even though the track workout itself was pretty laid back, this last practice felt like "the cherry on top of the cream on top of the pie on top of Mt. Lemmon" or however that expression is.
I might be a little pathetic, but I seriously can't even value how much this year (especially this semester) with the TriCats has meant to me. Thinking back on it, even the most simple workouts and everyday events seem legendary (I hope it's OK that I use that word, Shawn). I'm also convinced that TriCats are just going to keep getting better and better in the future!
Much Love Petter, much love! You always had a great attitude and it got me through many tough workouts. I hope that you have a safe journey and I know you won't forget us! I'll crash on your couch one of these days.. maybe take out some student loans for a European adventure :)
Petter. Saying good-bye tonight would have been impossible... So I hope you didn't mind the "see you soon", and I have every intent of keeping that promise. There have been very few people that I have encountered that are as uniquely genuine as you, and for that I have to thank you. Your super cheery attitude, enthusiasm with training and new people, and your interest in everything (even if it wasn't interesting hehe) are things that are going to stay with me forever.
Thanks for everything Petter. Have a great summer, and happy training. I think I speak for everyone when i say it has been an absolute pleasure getting to know you this year... and again, this is definitely a "see you soon" :)
Oh Petter.....how disappointed I am that I couldn't make it tonight. Your charisma and thoughfulness of everyone I will never forget! I have loved every minute of getting to know u and am thankful to say have met a beautiful(on the inside and out) swedish man who I could never be able to win a battle in the Starring game. So much love goes your way!
I will always have a friend in Sweden! YESSSSSSS! miss u tons!
Petter we love you! You have been a fantastic postive force on this team and have affected many people in ways that words probably won't express. I know you always inspired me along the way at workouts and when just hanging out. You are awesome buddy and you will be missed on this team.
I'm sorry that I couldn't make the track practice tonight. I hope it was fun.
I will miss my Wednesday morning ride buddy. Have a safe trip back to Sweeden. Definitely keep in touch (on that note, do you have facebook? I couldn't find you). I would love to hear stories about your trip across America.
I am really happy I got to know you.
Your friend,
Adrienne
Petter, you are awesome. Thanks for all the good memories.
Our first ride up gates pass together on that beautiful day, when you were riding in the middle of the road and we all thought you were crazy.
I remember trying to talk you into La Jolla and as soon as I gave up on you, you decided to be an adventurer and go. That is my first memory of Suter too.
When you were driving me around Alabama in my rental car and I guess I will leave it as that.
There are also those acts of selflessness that you made like staying back with people who were dropped on bike rides that make you such an important part of the team.
