Tricat of the Week: Amber Young, for excellence in baking and baking management.
Bike Swap: great job to everyone who made this event so successful. Tricats made $850 selling our food & bike stuff. "No one got sick."
Mt. Lemmon ride on Sunday: woot to Tractor and all the first-timers who tackled Tucson's most awesome bike climb.
Nationals: so far only 14 people have paid -- what does this mean? Should we put down those folks' names? We discussed what this might mean and what we should do. Speculated that some wanted to sign up but did not have the money. Some said, "Yes we should put down those names." Others said, "We weren't sure when we really ought to pay; or, we weren't sure if we should even bother paying since we thought other people would fill up the initial 20 spots." Decision: we will wait one more week. If we by next week, 11/19, we have 20 or fewer people paid up, we will just use their 20 names for our initial reservation. If we have more than that we will proceed with the original plan, signing up Placeholder names.
Tonight: ultimate frisbee on the mall.
New idea for Tuesdays: Tricat T-shirt Tuesday, wear your Tricat shirt and proudly publicize the club.
Reminders: tomorrow AM run, PM trainer workout -- arrive early. For those riding El Tour, take it a little easier this week and get good rest. Tractor is doing a water bottle swap.
Meeting ended with breaking into committees.
